In order to shape an international cooperation lively over a distance of more than 10,000 km, active people are needed here as well as there taking up this challenge with heart and mind, developing new project ideas together and shaping cooperations. For this purpose the Mpumalanga Forum NRW was founded already in 2001. Over time more than a 100 organizations and individual persons came together under this roof and by now civil society- and church initiatives, an exchange of knowledge and experience at government level, economic relations as well as city and school partnerships are part of this network. During the 15 years of cooperation an increasing number of ties across the borders of Mpumalanga grew with other South African provinces- as there are Free State, Limpopo, Western Cape and Gauteng. Since 2015 we, as South Africa Forum NRW, support people and organizations in their commitment for projects and above all with partners of the Rainbow nation – in the sense of a just and sustainable development we concretely work on themes like fight against poverty, food security and rural development, health and well-being, education, gender, clean energy and climate protection, responsible consumption and decent work. We welcome people and initiatives that are interested in cooperations, experience exchange, intercultural work and networking. Welcome to a joint bridge-building to and from South Africa!
